Meet the Pastor

Rev. Dr. Marcus Green
Rev. Dr. Green was born in Orlando, Florida. He comes from a familly that has been entrenched in African Methodism. He grew up in the YPD at St. Mark AME Church in Orlando, Florida where his pastor was Dr. G.L. Champion. He attended Oak Ridge High School and graduated with the class of 1991. He also graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education.

Dr. Green accepted the call to preach on Father's Day of 1992, when now Bishop Samuel Green preached a sermon entitled, "Will a real man stand up for God?"

Dr. Green graduated from the Interdenominational Theological Center in1998 with a Master's in Divinity Degree with a concentration in Biblical Studies. Dr. Green has also received a Doctorate in Ministry from United Theological Seminary (December 2021).

Dr. Green has three wonderful children: Marcus II, Sara, and Jaylen.
