MINISTRY OVERVIEW

The word “Ministry” means service.  Paul wrote that the Corinthian Christians were a result of his ministry.  As Christians, we should always be mindful of the need for service to others.  We welcome the opportunity to partner with you in ministry for service to the Kingdom.

We have many areas of Ministry and we are sure that there is an area that you will be able to express the gift that God has placed within you.  The Bible records that, “he gave some  to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:”

You may fill out an interest card directly from this website to express your interest in working in any capacity in one or several areas.  Paul wrote these words saying, “let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”   Hebrews 10:24-25 (ESV)

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

The Women’s Ministry seeks to be concerned with the “total woman”.  This ministry addresses the spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional phases of the woman – the Christian woman.  We praise God for His eternal grace and mercy by allowing us to cook and feed the families of sick children at the Ronald McDonald House, convening a Woman’s Conference on a yearly basis in the spring as well as in the fall a service of “Royal Woman in Purple”.  We are thankful to God for this ecumenical service.

COURTESY GUILD

The Courtesy Guild was designed to implement experiences that lead people to establish and maintain a Righteous relationship with Christ for kingdom building by evaluating and enhancing church ministries to meet the needs of the church family while stimulating growth. We also develop and implement Outreach Ministries that transform local and distant communities and foster social development.

JOYOUS PRAISE / MIME MINISTRY

Joyous Praise Dance and Unspoken Mime Ministry vision is to create an atmosphere of praise and worship.  Through movement and expression.  We believe that God can speak through the movement of our limbs and allow the Holy Spirit to flow freely within us.  Our mission is to bring people closer to God by creating a platform to express (dance) our love and obedience to God.  The ministry is more than a performance, but a ministry experience to shift and set the atmosphere for God to move freely in church.  We hope that you would consider joining the movement as we express and proclaim the name of Jesus in our dance/mime.

PRAYER MINISTRY

We are a group that meets on Tuesday at noon and before Bible Study.  Our main concern is to pray for our Pastor, leaders and the sick and shut in, or whatever request that is given to us.  On Tuesday as prayer is going on, members as well as others have joined in.  We are not selfish with our prayers for our group as well as others.

MEN’S MINISTRY

The Men’s Ministry’s mission is to facilitate spiritual growth by allowing ourselves to be willing vessels, accepting the call for action in our overall kingdom assignment.  We teach that each man has a purpose or task to complete while the day is still present and the night has not called us home and that we must work for the Lord while we are still yet able to.  We challenge one another to become more in tune with each other and understanding the need to stand in the gap for another individual.  Are you willing to serve God with all of your mind, heart and soul?
